Lakota Woman Mary was brought into the world with the name Mary Brave Bird. She was a Sioux from the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota. She had a place with the Consumed Thigh, the Brule Tribe, the Sicangu. The Brules are a piece of the Seven Sacred Campfires, the seven clans of the Western Sioux referred to aggregately as the Lakota. The Brule rode ponies and were extraordinary warriors.
